Blood Cancer United welcomes patients, survivors and their families to a free, in-person program focused on the financial and career challenges that often accompany a blood cancer diagnosis; and the practical strategies to help you navigate them with confidence. During the event, expert speakers from CancerLINC, VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, and patient advocates will share guidance to help support your financial well-being through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, including: - Managing medical debt - Adapting and coping with unexpected life and employment changes - Making informed decisions about financial options and resources Attendees are also invited to participate in interactive breakout discussions during lunch for focused conversations on caregiving, legal and workplace resources, and patient community building. A brief panel discussion featuring legal, financial, and patient perspectives, followed by audience Q&A, will close the program. All are welcome — we encourage you to bring your caregiver and family members. Complimentary light breakfast and lunch provided. Free parking available.
