Marina Watersports Coordinator
Jordan Point Marina is offering an exciting work opportunity in an incredible riverfront setting for a motivated, adventurous individual. This job is a customer oriented position so looking for individuals that are comfortable speaking with clients, can self-manage and problem solve. Our company rents out boats to wildlife watching enthusiasts and fisherman seeking a DIY experience.
Hours start early, but once boats are checked out, the day is open until craft start arriving back. Then employees will be inspecting boats and cleaning and getting everything ready for the next days’ customers.
Job duties will include but are not limited to:
-giving a safety and craft operation briefing to customers
-helping renters fill out waivers before checkout
-explaining boat operation
-boat check in, cleaning and vessel inspection at the end of a rental period
- perform all duties necessary to properly execute rental agreements and to thoroughly inspect rental watercrafts and equipment upon departure and return.
Candidates for this job must be very dependable, timely, able to communicate well with customers, maintain a presentable appearance and be organized. Employees will be driving boats to and from the fuel dock in a busy marina to top off gas tanks in varying weather conditions, so small boat operation experience is a big bonus. Some fishing experience would be great as well. Since hours start early in the morning being dependable and timely is paramount! - boating and/or fishing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must hold a DWR Boater’s Safety License
