    News!
    Dear Members:

We are visiting members and finding out that business is brisk for many of you. This means there are opportunities for us to assist you in meeting your goals. Whether it is taxes, gardening, vacation plans, spring break, spring cleaning, workforce training, sales and marketing, we provide resources and we make referrals every day! We strive to save you time and money by being knowledgeable about people, places, and products in the region.

In April, the Dale Carnegie organization will be working to fill a local class. They are coming back to the area at the request of members who want a convenient training class for their associates. If you are interested in this resource, please call the chamber and we can connect you to Dale Carnegie or to companies who are happy to tell you about their experience with the training.

Workforce development is a buzz word these days. The H/PG Chamber is focused on ensuring that our members are active on boards and committees that are addressing this concern. A few upcoming activities you may wish to consider:

April 4 - Blueprint Virginia (Open to the Public)
    Register Here!
May 19 - Crater Regional Workforce Development Board Meeting (Open to the Public)

There seems to be growing interest in lead share groups developing within the Chamber of Commerce.

We are currently working with the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce who has been running successful lead share groups for many years.

If you are interested in being part of a chamber lead share group that would meet bi-monthly or monthly please call and ask for Rachael Brendel, Member Services Coordinator at 804-541-2461
