NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!!
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT! You mean I can meet my neighbors and local police personnel in one night? YES, and more!
"National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live", as stated by the National Night Out Organization. Neighbors meet neighbors and their families. Neighbors and families meet their local police officers and other members of law enforcement. There is always plenty of food, conversation, special activities and demonstrations, and FUN, FUN, FUN. National Night Out can be as simple as a backyard cookout, whole block party, or locals gathering at a park, church, or community center. Check with your local law enforcement personnel to see what is planned for your neighborhood.
