COVID-19 Small Business Marketing Program
HOPEWELL, VA - The City of Hopewell is excited to announce the Hopewell Small Business Marketing Program. Utilizing funding provided by the CARES Act, the Hopewell Small Business Marketing program has been established by the City of Hopewell in partnership with the Hopewell Downtown Partnership. This program will provide small business owners THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE CITY access to free marketing assistance to aid in overcoming the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Small Business Marketing Program will provide participants with individual guidance in branding, digital and traditional advertising, public relations, signage recommendations, marketing planning and overall customer outreach. Usry Strategic Partners and JLV Communications are the two local marketing firms that will implement the program in conjunction with the City and the Hopewell Downtown Partnership. Accepted businesses will be able to meet one on-one with marketing firms through this program. The marketing consultants will work directly with the business owners or management teams to schedule consultation times.
Any Hopewell business with a brick and mortar location, a current City of Hopewell business license, and no more than 25 employees is eligible for this program. This program is limited to 40 businesses, and eligible businesses will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The City of Hopewell encourages any interested business to apply as soon as possible.
The application will be available on the City of Hopewell's website on November 13, 2020 starting at 9am. App li cations will be due on November 20, 2020 by 11:59pm.
