    We all love fireworks! What better way to celebrate the USA
    than to watch our awesome fireworks displays!
     
     The City of Hopewell will celebrate Independence Day in style with a dazzling fireworks display on the Appomattox River! Main viewing for the fireworks display is the rear parking area of the John Randolph Medical Center. Event parking is available in adjacent neighborhoods. There is no event parking at the hospital. The show is free and open to the public.

    Fort Lee Army Band: 8:30-9:30 p.m.

     Girls In A Country Song In Concert
    Country duo hit makers Maddie & Tae take the Williams Stadium stage to entertain at Fort Lee's annual Independence Day celebration, Fourth at the Fort, on Tuesday, July 4. 
    The event begins at 5 p.m. The 392d Army Band kicks off the music at 5:15 p.m. with a rousing set of the red, white & blue standards at 5:15 p.m, followed by country music singer/songwriter, Jackie Lee at 6:45 p.m. Maddie & Tae, the country duo behind the platinum-certified hit "Girl In A Country Song" and radio favorites "Fly" and "Shut Up and Fish," will perform at 8:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
     
    Be sure to arrive to ensure that you have a seat for what is sure to be a memorable night of music. Personal pyrotechnics, tailgating, glass bottles, smoking, backpacks, coolers and pets are not permitted in or around the event area. Plastic and mesh see-thru bags allowed.
