Guncotton Coffee to collaborate with award winning Chef Ernie Labecque and Ashton Creek
Vineyards for a Valentines Wine Pre Fixe Dinner benefiting the Hopewell Downtown Partnership
Hopewell, VA: February 14, 2021 Guncotton Coffee will be hosting their first Valentines Dinner
featuring Chef Ernie Labrecque. Ernie has prepared a 4 course pre fixe menu that will be complemented
by a variety of local, Ashton Creek Vineyard wines. Only 40 seats are available for this dinner and as of
today, it is 55% filled. All proceeds will go to the Hopewell Downtown Partnership to help build the
community and bring in more small businesses.

COVID-19 Safety guidelines
1. Capacity will be limited to 40 people. (well below the recommended guidelines)
2. Tables will be spaced 6’ apart.
3. Tables will only be for parties of 2 people.
4. Reservation only.
About Guncotton Coffee
Guncotton Coffee originally opened in 2018 but closed in March 2020 due to the pandemic. On
January 2, 2021, it reopened under new ownership by local business owners Larry Hancock (Legacy
Roasting Co.) and Crisman White (Room ESC escape room). The new vision for Guncotton goes beyond
coffee and aims to create a collaborative co-working space and event center.
