Hopewell Business Relocates Next to Mid-Town Retail Corridor
Hopewell, VA – Pins and Needles opens its doors on Wednesday, April 26th at 11 AM to celebrate the move to a new location, 1000 W. City Point Road.
Debra Lail Thornburgh, proprietor of Pins and Needles, is so excited about her newly renovated space on a main city artery. Before moving to Virginia 16 years ago, she lived in Wyoming and Utah. She began her sewing career in 1989 specializing is sewing specialty dance wear and costumes. Today her focus is alterations. She expertly alters prom and wedding formalwear and also takes care of hems, zippers, tapering and sizing for all ages. She also enjoys sewing patches for scouts, motorcycle clubs, and any membership organization.
When asked what brought her to Hopewell, she credits Steve Barnes, Sr. for encouraging her to move to Hopewell and serve the needs of the community.
The Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce is proud to hold a relocation ceremony for Pins and Needles. Chamber members are invited to a lunch reception following the ribbon cutting. Lunch will be provided by Battlefield Barbecue, owner Tim Williams. Following the reception for the chamber and the city, there will be an open house and barbecue will be for sale.
