The Chamber’s 2019 President, Conall Fee of Rolls-Royce Crosspointe, said, “We envision a Chamber that takes action, is bold and collaborative.”  This year the chamber is working with the Colonial Heights Chamber to pilot a program to promote leadership in the 40 & under sector of our workforce and community volunteers; a manufacturing initiative to ensure that there will be enough people interested and prepared for careers in advanced manufacturing, skilled trades, and construction to support the growth of existing businesses; the chamber worked with regional partners to hold our first national tourism week celebration designed to increase awareness of the growth of tourism assets in the region and the economic impact of tourism on our economy and we are undergoing a thorough organizational evaluation.  “These are just a few of the activities taking place this year to prepare us for the future” reports Becky McDonough, CEO.
