• Fall in Love with Fall In Virginia near Hopewell and Prince George County Virginia

    October 01, 2017
We are now starting the second week of fall (yay!) and the first week of October (double yay!). Are you most excited for fall festivals, hay rides, pumpkin carving, hiking, or Halloween?

Leaves will soon be changing their colors, turning Hopewell and Prince George County, Virginia into a rich canvas of fall foliage, speckling our community with beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow.

October often renews our excitement for outdoor recreation due to cooler temperatures and beautifully colored landscapes.

You can keep up with where the best color viewing is in our beautiful state here thanks to the Virginia Department of Forestry. Remember to take pictures and add #LOVEVA when you share them on social media!

For our favorite list to check when we get stuck in the common “I don’t know what do you wanna’ do” conversation, visit https://www.virginia.org/octoberinvirginia and find fun events near and far!

Let us be your October experts at the Hopewell-Prince George County, VA Visitor Welcome Center. From pumpkins and hay rides to hiking and biking, we can guarantee you’ll “leaf” us with all you need to know for experiencing the beauty of fall in Virginia.
