Next, drive out to 400 year old Martian's Brandon Episcopal Church located 18721 James River Dr, Spring Grove, VA 23881. This parish dates back to 1613 when Brandon Plantation was patented by Captain John Martin who accompanied Captain John Smith to America. You can only stroll the grounds, but the historical landscape is worth the trip, close your eyes and be drawn back to 1613.
