• A True Grain to Glass Experience near Hopewell and Prince George, Virginia

    September 29, 2017
As Septembers comes to an end, so does the celebratory Virginia Craft Spirits Month. That doesn't mean we can’t continue to show our appreciation for local distillers into October!

What better way to ring in October than to tour of a local distillery in Disputanta!
Three Brothers Distillery calls themselves “Southeast Virginia's only Grain to Glass Distillery.
They specialize in producing corn whiskey and gin distilled from and infused with locally sourced ingredients. Both of these spirits have been awarded “Virginia’s Finest” recognition and are sure to please your palate!

You can special order their Kablam Corn Whiskey and Silk Jacket Naval Strength Compound Gin from your local Virginia ABC store. You’ve gotta try their Sussex Sunrise cocktail!
    Start with a rocks glass.
Add 1 1/2 oz Silk Jacket Gin
    Add 1/4 oz Grenadine
Top off your glass slowly with orange juice to keep the sunrise look.
Garnish with orange slice and serve with a straw

    FUN FACT:
The British Admiralty passed an edict that if alcohol was to be locked up in the gunpowder room, it had to be of sufficient alcohol content to burn. Alcohol burns at 57%, or 114 proof, which is why Three Brother’s Gin is called “Naval Strength!”

You can visit the distillery and tasting room located at 9935 County Line Rd, Disputanta, VA.
    Give them a call at (757) 204-1357
