We’ve all had the conversation that starts “What do you wanna’ do today?”, “I don’t know, what do you wanna’ do today?” It usually drags on with a few more “I don’t know” responses and then you realize 15 minutes have passed and no decision was made!
I’m here to help.
This is a list of ways to spend your Labor Day in Hopewell and Prince George, I’ve even categorized them into interest groups!
If you’d like to spend the day leisurely enjoying the outdoors, I’d recommend visiting Appomattox River Regional Park in Prince George County or City Park in Hopewell. Walk by the river, cast your fishing rod, and relax!
If your history senses are tingling, I’d recommend visiting Weston Plantation or Grant’s Cabin both located in Hopewell. Both of these historic sites highlight the rich history of our community and the beautiful views of the river we have to enjoy! Pack a picnic and spend some time on the grounds of either property soaking in the history and views, you’ll be glad you did.
If you’re looking for something a little more exciting, how’s paintball sound? What about free paintball?!
If free paintball has your attention, you should visit Splatbrothers Paintball Park in Prince George on Labor Day for free entry and free rental gear with the purchase of paint! This is a great deal for both beginners and veterans of the sport! The staff at Splatbrothers is super friendly and extremely helpful. You can reserve your spot online, or just show up!
