• Prince George County Malt on Tap This Weekend!

Local farmer Tony Kvasnicka will be cooking shrimp and burgers alongside his friend and customer Terry Ammons to celebrate Ammo’s One Year Anniversary this weekend, July 15, 2017.
6 Row Mosaic will be on tap for those who wish to support farm to table entrepreneurial activities. This craft beer is brewed exclusively with barley grown and malted in Prince George County on the Kvasnicka farm.

VA Tech fans will appreciate that the barley comes from a VA Tech seed called “Thoroughbred”.

Czech Slovak farms are scattered throughout the region and this heritage and culture is celebrated at the Church of the Sacred Heart in South Prince George, a museum in the courthouse area of the county and at a fall annual event.

For more related history and fun visit the Prince George Regional Heritage Center at 6406 Courthouse Rd., in Prince George, attend a mass, and make plans to attend the Fifth Annual Virginia Czech & Slovak Folklife Festival 2017 on October 21 from 11 AM – 4 PM with FREE admission.
