    Hopewell-Prince George United Way's 2020-2021
    Campaign Begins

Hopewell, VA. The Hopewell-Price George United Way Campaign began on Thursday, September 24th 2020. The City of Hopewell is happy to announce Herbert Bragg and Stacey English as the City's Chairpersons for the 2020-2021 Hopewell-Prince George United Way Campaign. This year, the City's goal is $15,200.00.

The Hopewell-Prince George United Way has provided support to agencies and groups for almost 80 years in the City of Hopewell and Prince George County. Our partner agencies are continuing their support by helping those less fortunate, including our youth, disabled, and elderly.
"Even though this is a very challenging time for our community, we believe that now is the time for us to step up and make a difference." said Herbert Bragg, Co-chair, and Director, Intergovernmental & Public Affairs, City of Hopewell.

"As our community begins the process of adapting to the new 'normal' our citizens and the community organizations that support them will rely on funding assistance provided by the Hopewell-Prince George United Way more than ever. It is imperative during this challenging time that we support one another as we move forward. Contributing to the United Way Campaign is one way to show that support, which will assist our neighbors in getting their lives back on track". said John M. Altman, Jr., City Manager, City of Hopewell.

"The United-Way serves many of our Hopewell residents through multiple organizations, including: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Inc., Boy Scouts of America, Enhancing Education, the Hopewell Food Pantry, the Hopewell Humane Society Inc., STORY and many other agencies." Said Stacey English, Co-chair and Economic Development Specialist, City of Hopewell.

The Hopewell-Prince George United Way nonprofit offers the option of payroll deduction through employee's workplaces. People who wish to make one-time or regular donations to Hopewell-Prince George United Way can do so in a variety of ways, including by mail, in person and through your department/agency representative.
