    Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce
Announces New President, Officers & Board Members
Brandon Butterworth tapped to lead H/PG Chamber as President

Hopewell, Va. (Jan. 20, 2026) – The Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce (H/PG Chamber) is excited to announce that Brandon Butterworth, Head of School at West End Christian School in Hopewell, Va., has been elected President of the organization’s board of directors. He succeeds Kerrick Loyd, Production Manager at Smurfit Westrock, who had served in that role in 2025.

Butterworth assumed the newly created position of Head of School in 2025 – a role that reflects the growth of the school. Most recently, he had served for over 10 years at the Community Foundation of Richmond, culminating in the role of Vice President of Philanthropic Services. He and his wife live in Hopewell where they are active in the community and with family. This is his third year on the board, having previously served as Treasurer and as Chair of the Operations and Finance Committee.

A talented group of business leaders will be serving as Officers on the H/PG board along with Butterworth:

    • Vice President – Andrew Parker, Principal Technical Engineer and Six Sigma Black Belt at AdvanSix in Hopewell. He joined the H/PG board in the position of Government Relations Director with AdvanSix, where he helped build the chamber’s advocacy program and refresh the strategic plan. This is his second consecutive year as a board VP, and he has also chaired the successful Chamber Annual Golf Open, now in its 25th year.

    • Treasurer- Kelli Vance, CPA/PFS/CGMA at Brown Edwards. She is a partner at the firm with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. She was transferred to the Hopewell/Prince George area in 2024 and quickly became active in the community. This is her second year on the H/PG Chamber’s board and her first year as an officer.

    • Secretary – Terelle Robinson, Associate Director of Government Relations at Richard Bland College. He assists with advocacy for the H/PG Chamber and the Capital Region Military Alliance of Virginia, and he is an advocate for education, quality of life and community service. In an era where students seek opportunities for internships, mentoring, networking, and community service, he keeps this goal front and center. This is his third year on the H/PG Chamber’s board and his second year in the position of Secretary.

Several new Directors were elected to serve on the H/PG board including:

    • Kelly Tucker works at the Bank of Southside Virginia, where she serves as Director, Assistant Vice President, Senior Branch Manager and Business Development Specialist.
    • Billy Nahrebecki is employed by Dominion Energy. A U.S. Navy veteran, he serves as Manager/Base Privatization at Fort Lee and is an advisory board member of the Capital Region Military Alliance of Virginia.
    • Afton Pryor is a Community Development & Marketing Specialist at Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union.
“The Hopewell/Prince George Chamber of Commerce congratulates Brandon, Andrew, Kelli and Terelle on their officer positions. Also, we welcome Kelly, Billy and Afton as new Directors and extend our appreciation to Kerrick for his leadership and dedicated service,” said Becky McDonough, CEO of the H/PG Chamber. “We look forward to collaborating with such an accomplished team of business leaders as we continue to build a strong and vibrant region where businesses and families can thrive.”
